Frequently Asked Questions

You're buying them directly from us, for starters, so you're directly helping us out and making sure artists get the support they need. But more than that, MP3s of this quality are not available too many other places on the internet. They are near CD quality-- variable bit rate! They are also DRM free, so you can play them on any mp3 device you might have-- yes, this includes your ipod.

We're selling you higher quality, larger mp3s, which means they're also bigger, so they take longer to download. We do not recommend downloading mp3s from Circleintosquare.com if you do not have a fairly fast connection (dsl, cable, etc), or are on dial up and aren't going anywhere for a while.

ZIP FILE FOR PC: Save the zip file to your desktop, or someplace else of your choice. If your browser doesn't give you the option to save it somewhere, by default most browsers will save to the Desktop, or somewhere in My Documents, such as in the My Received Files folder.

If you have trouble finding the file, open up My Computer and do a search with CTRL+F, All Files And Folders, with the name *.zip. Tell the find dialog to look on your C: drive.

Once you find the zip file, double click that file. It will open up like a folder. You can navigate through the folders in the zip file, if any. You can copy the mp3s out of these folders to your Desktop, or wherever you want them to eventually reside.

ZIP FILE FOR MAC: Save the zip file to your desktop, or someplace else of your choice. Double click the file, and it will umpack the zip file into a folder, usually named the same as the zip file. You can navigate through the folders in the zip file, if any. You can copy the mp3s out of these folders to your Desktop, or wherever you want them to eventually reside.

No, you will not be charged shipping on downloads.

If you never received an email from us with a confirmation of your order then you were not charged. If we charged you, then you can download your order from your account or purchases page. If you downloaded your ordered files but can't find the files, here are some instructions borrowed from Apple to help searching for files on your hard drive:

Windows users

On the Start menu, click Search.
Click All Files and folders.
In the "All or part of the file name" field, type  mp3 or for the folder name "catalog" and then click Search.
If you see the files you are looking for in the Search Results window, you can add them back into your music library.

Mac OSX users

From the File menu, choose Find (if using Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger or newer, you can alternatively click the Spotlight menu).
Type mp3 as the search term.
Click Search (Spotlight automatically searches as you type, and does not have a Search button).

If you see the files you are looking for in the Search Results window, you can add them back into your music library.

Check your Recycle Bin/Trash

Another place to look for wayward music files is in your Recycle Bin (Windows) or the Trash (Mac). Don't ask. Sometimes things happen and files wind up there. We've all done it and couldn't even begin to guess how. If you find any, just move them from the Recycle Bin or Trash, and add them back to where ever you store your music.

It's ok. You can always log into your account and download your order again from your Purchases page.

All of our packages are shipped via the US Postal Service In most cases you are given the options of either Priority (2-3 days), Parcel Post (3-5 days) or 1st Class (only for packages under 13 oz, 2-3 days). These are all approximate times, none of which are guaranteed, however we do include delivery confirmation with all domestic orders. International packages are shipped First-Class International, or Global Priority (4-10 days).

Orders are generally shipped within three business days after they are received, unless the order includes a pre-order item.

You can add items to you shopping cart and see how much shipping will be without buying anything. Just enter your address in and go to the next step and you'll be shown the shipping options and costs before you're charged anything.

Nope! We're based in Oregon, so even if you're in Oregon, there's no sales tax.

We try out best to not backorder items. If it is out of stock, please check back and see if we have more in stock at another time. Some items might just be getting re-pressed. Items that are not getting re-pressed are usually removed from the site.

All questions are answered in the order they are received. You should receive a response within 24 hours. (Please note that Circle Into Square is closed on the weekends and holidays, but we'll answer your questions as soon as we get back to the office.)

We will send you some confirmation emails along the way. You will be emailed once you have purchased the item and then you'll be emailed again when the item is shipped. That email should include a delivery confirmation number which you can use to track your package, however USPS's delivery confirmation really only indicates whether the package has been delivered or not.

Because we know how important security is for our customers, Circle Into Square has taken great measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of ordering information such as credit card numbers, addresses and personal data.

Circle Into Square uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology for encrypting data transmitted over the internet. SSL was created by Netscape and is supported by most internet browsers, including Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer. If you see a blue line at the top of your window and a symbol (usually in the lower portion of your screen) that looks like a lock and key, then you are protected by SSL protocol. Other browsers use similar, but not necessarily identical, indicators.

Circle Into Square is also registered with a site identification authority (Geotrust... a subsidiary of VeriSign) which enables your browser to confirm our store's identity before transmissions are sent. VeriSign technology provides the strongest encryption available today (it is used by the military for securing information and data transmissions).

Sister Crayon - Cynic EP

STREET DATE » 04/15/2013 The Cynic EP is at times, both raw and inconsolable, inspired by Lopez’s absent father and daily frustrations with the past. The project’s new body of work is unapologetic in it’s intensity, allowing Sister Crayon to create their most honest work to date. Upon the release of Cynic, Sister Crayon plans to unveil a new live sound with tour dates in the Spring of 2013 while also writing new material for their second full length, set to be released in late 2013.

Awol One - The Mombie (Children's Book & CD)

STREET DATE » 03/21/2013 From Awol One: "I think kids need to have books to hold, touch and look at with others, even though i like digital books. I think that a real child's book is magic, its permanent, its real and holds value to our minds, ears and eyes." The Mombie fits the positive mood of a timeless children's story, while the artwork and soundtrack give it that classic b-movie feel. Keeping in tradition of some of my childhood favorites like The Munsters, Scooby Doo, The Addams Family or Beetlejuice, they all had something in common, friendship and love and creepy monsters.
